Cosmetics built for the working cowgirl.
Cedar Creek Cowgirls™, founded by Michelle Bilbrey, is a cosmetic brand inspired by the strength, resilience, and spirit of cowgirls. Michelle’s journey from barrel racing to managing a Cow/Calf and Stocker operation in Tennessee’s Sequatchie Valley has equipped her with a deep understanding of the demands of ranch life. When sitting down with her to ask some questions about her business, she explained that “Women in the agriculture and western communities need a product that’s both tough and gentle enough for all ages.”
More than just makeup, Cedar Creek Cowgirls™ is about giving back to the Western community—a purpose that’s unique in the cosmetic world. Many of the products give back up to $10 to various causes in the rodeo industry. One of their lip oils gives back $10 to breakaway ropers, and Michelle is currently working on a collaboration with the Women’s Rodeo World Championship, where proceeds from their collab palette will go to the pot for their finals in May.
Michelle knows the challenges cowgirls face, from long days on the ranch to unexpected obstacles. “These industries are tough,” she says. “We wake up every morning with a new battle, but we keep going. Tomorrow might be the day we make it. Don’t give up—you matter.”

When wrapping up the conversation, I asked Michelle what she hopes to contribute to the rodeo industry through her business and this is what she wanted to close with.
“I want to give every cowgirl a little pop of color. Around here we are coming out of winter and we are counting hay bales wondering if we are going to have enough hay to stretch until spring. Then that little pop of green shows and we know better days are coming. I preach a 15-minute ritual to every cowgirl I talk with. Take 15 minutes for yourself in the morning. Put your makeup on. Feel good about yourself and then walk out the door and take on the day. If it’s a bad day on the ranch or in the arena, look in the mirror and see that pop of color and know it was just one bad day, keep going. Look good, feel good, do good!”
Made to endure, yet gentle enough for every cowgirl, the Cedar Creek Cowgirl’s products are talc-free, paraben-free, gluten-free, and long-lasting. In the rodeo and Western world, looking and feeling your best isn’t just about appearances—it’s about channeling the confidence and resilience needed to take on each day’s challenges. Cedar Creek Cowgirls™ embodies this mindset, creating makeup that stands up to the demands of ranch life while empowering every cowgirl to feel her strongest, both inside and out. For founder Michelle Bilbrey, a touch of makeup is more than just color; it’s a reminder of self-worth, perseverance, and the belief that with confidence, no obstacle is too great. Because when cowgirls feel their best, they’re unstoppable.
